When I’m not fully immersed in my role as a devoted dad to my four wonderful young daughters, I find immense joy in indulging my passion for sports and outdoor activities. One of my greatest pleasures is watching the thrilling matches of AFL, Rugby, and Rugby League. The excitement and camaraderie that these sports bring never fail to captivate me, making each game a riveting experience.

However, my interests extend beyond being a spectator. There’s something uniquely satisfying about basking in the warmth of the sun while engaging in a leisurely round of golf. The lush green landscapes of the golf course provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing yet challenging day on the links. And amidst the well-manicured fairways and meticulously designed holes, there’s an unforgettable achievement I hold dear: a hole-in-one at the picturesque Lombok Koseido Golf Course in the enchanting land of Indonesia.

Lombok, with its stunning natural beauty, faced a profound tragedy in 2018 when a devastating earthquake struck the island. Witnessing the aftermath of such a catastrophic event moved me to act and offer a helping hand. In an effort to bring hope and practical assistance to the communities and schools still grappling with the aftermath, I’ve dedicated myself to raising funds for the purchase and installation of water filtration systems.

These filtration systems serve as a lifeline to those affected by the earthquake, providing access to clean and safe drinking water—an essential resource that often becomes scarcer in the wake of such disasters. Through my fundraising endeavours, I aim to contribute to the ongoing recovery and rebuilding efforts on the island of Lombok. It’s a cause that resonates deeply with me, and I’m committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those who continue to endure the aftermath of this tragedy.
